Our Subsea Workshop Services

We believe that if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing right, and the safety critical nature of the products we build at STL means our workshop is set up to deliver the best - on time, every time.

Our extensive workshop facilities cover over 8,000sqft of indoor space and a further 8,000sqft of external yard space from where we provide a wide variety of services, either in conjunction with our subsea engineering capability or independently. These include:

• System Integration Testing
• Assembly
• Maintenance
• Repair (including re-engineering, welding, machining, re-certification)
• Overhaul (including fault finding, reconfiguration, painting)
• Upgrade
• Hydrostatic testing (to 30,000psi)
• Hyperbaric testing (to simulated 3,000m water depth)
• Gas testing
• Research & Development (R&D)

We can also provide you with indoor and outdoor workshop space where your own personnel can work on your project.
Our workshop facilities include:

• 6m x 6m x 3m(h) pressure test bay with electronic chart recording
• 5T overhead gantry crane (6m hook height)
• 12T forklift
• 6m roller shutter main door
• Wireless internet access
• Central Aberdeen location
