At Subsea Technologies Ltd (STL), we focus solely on designing and developing subsea products that make our clients' operations easier offshore.
We have developed a range of highly reliable industry-leading quality products that are now being successfully deployed worldwide in a broad range of contexts including on riser and riserless subsea well intervention, well abandonment, and well control applications.
Our unique and game-changing connector technology includes:
• Xtreme Release (XR) ConnectorTM
The highly regarded XR ConnectorTM which solves one of the longest standing challenges of subsea riser design: It removes the entire concept of Maximum Riser Disconnect Angle!. As a result the XR ConnectorTM provides radically improved vessel safety, significantly reduced environmental risk and reduced costs through greatly increased vessel operability. The XR ConnectorTM is patented worldwide.
• SLIC ConnectorTM
The multi-functional SLIC ConnectorTM comprises a family of products which allow the user to create a riser connector, a wireline pressure control head or a subsea lifting tool through the installation of various cartridges. Uniquely, the SLIC ConnectorTM features built-in redundancy and has been specially designed for maximum ease of maintenance offshore to minimise NPT and cut spares costs. The SLIC ConnectorTM is patented worldwide.
• Load Bearing Umbilical Breakaway Connector
The Load Bearing Umbilical Breakaway Connector combines three key functions: it can support the load of deployed equipment suspended on the end of a load-bearing umbilical, it can disconnect a wet mateable electrical connector, and it can release the umbilical from the deployed equipment in an emergency with no limitation on release angle. The Load Bearing Umbilical Connector can be used for applications on large bore fluid injection and return hoses, hydraulic stab plate assemblies and fluid transfer lines.
